Our first hotel was the Prodomo, a nice little set-up for all of us to ease into jet lag.
Almost looks like Tawni, but sadly, it's not. I found out that morning she wasn't coming after all. DANG.
But life goes on...
...and it went on to the Cologne Cathedral. We actually got to sing in this building. For an audience! I've got three words for you (two if you count the hyphenated word as one, and you should): SEVEN-SECOND ECHO.
These guys are either pretty amazing or pretty crazy. Probably both. The really look like statues. Then when you drop some change at their feet, they make an obligatory movement. Some bow, others wink, and some just change positions. It's a living I guess.

That's really neat that you got to see (and sing in) the cathedral. That's the kind of church you build when you believe that Jesus is going to win!
